A lot of people have their Y!A set to view all questions in English...so that increases the chances of someone outside your country of residence may reply to your question.
It doesn't have anything to do with Europeans asking Americans for advice, but that anyone who asks for advice may get it from Americans because there are a lot of us that use this site and have our settings to view all questions in English, not just ones posted by Americans.Why do so many europeans ask Americans for relationship advice?
